Far From Timid is where street meets modernism. Where rhythm and soul meet vibrant geometry. Where every product is a limited-edition made from original patterns you can’t get anywhere else.

The Far From Timid Shop collection, designed by founder Alona Elkayam, is inspired by two progressive (and hyphenated) movements, hip-hop and mid-century modern. Think Charles Eames meets Biggie Smalls. We call this Street Modern. Far From Timid’s debut collection, begins with a single inch of an original artwork on canvas that is photographed, magnified and multiplied to create a startling new pattern. We make our products for the people we call Legendmakers: People building their dream–not someone else’s. We aren’t just selling products, we building a community. Doing what we are meant to be doing. Five percent of our profits go to a seed fund that gives grants to Legendmakers contributing to their community. Learn more about our community here.
